Welcome to Nursery class!
Zapraszamy do klasy przedszkola!
We are continuing to welcome new friends into Nursery class and our older friends are showing how grown up and sensible they are, as they support them in settling.
We are focusing on Our Promises and learning how to be a good friend at
Our Lady of Walsingham
We have caterpillars!
10 caterpillars have come to stay with us in Foundation Stage. We are watching how they grow and change each day. We are so excited as we wait for them to turn into butterflies!
We have read Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and enjoyed tasting some of the foods that we read about in the story.
Today we had some long-awaited snow!
It didn't last for long but we made the most of it...
The Junior Chefs' Academy visited and taught us how to make "Beatles Banana Bake"
We had a fantastic time and further developed our skills in:
In RE this half term, we have been focusing on "Celebrating." We have been finding our about (and discussing our experiences of) Christmas, birthdays and baptism. We were fortunate enough to join one of our Nursery friends in celebrating his baptism! We went to church and then made celebration cakes when we returned to school.
This week, we made our own pizzas for snack. We know that we have to wash our hands before handling food, to keep the germs away. We had lots of fun making our own pizzas and it helped some of our fussier eaters to try something new
Our Nursery children love to play outdoors whatever the weather. Here are some of our friends mixing a muddy soup. Yum!
