To launch our new topic, about life one hundred years ago, we had an exciting trip to the museum of Liverpool life. We were amazed by the way people lived their daily lives and how they differ from our lives today. We found out about wash day, cooking and lack of toilet facilities. When we returned to school we were excited to share our knowledge with others and we have been busy painting and writing about our trip.

In Science lessons we have been exploring different materials. Can you explain why we would not make a hammer out of glass?

In our History lessons we are learning what life in Great Britain was like when the Queen came to the throne in1953. We enjoyed watching video clips of the Queen's coronation and we listened to some coronation music. Then we had lots of fun dressing up and role playing our own coronation.
